Why exactly does this require a tumblr army? So he’s selling “modified” toys. Okay, cool, he’s probably a ripoff, why drag all the personal shit into it? Don’t get me wrong, I think he sounds like a douche, but he doesn’t sound like any actual threat and this comes off as more vendetta than a plea for help against bullying. He blocked YOU-so your contact is over, fucking ignore that toolbag and move on with your life. Maybe there’s more going on but I’m just not seeing it, and I really don’t think OMG THIS GUYS A JERK PSA posts really help anyone with anything other than creating massive drama and making OP look just as bad as the accused bully in some respects. Believe me, people are pretty good at recognizing assholes on their own… if they need a “psa” by a stranger… yikes. Wow whats funny… the other day on my fan page. I will randomly pick a friends fan page to promote. I was promoting my friends cosplay commission site and he does lovely work. Mostly comic stuff. And this guy makes a comment saying “Well you should check out this site instead cause we are better.” I called him out saying that was uncalled for and kept bothering me in PM saying how sorry he was.

If you’re going to block someone on Facebook so they can’t tell the internet how much of an asshole you are, you should probably invest in some security settings, instead of posting everything globally.

Sigh. This is not the only prop/costume fabricator in the community who acts this way, unfortunately. This is pretty common.

My personal philosophy is that even if you are working on a small scale, you should always deal patiently and at least civilly with your clients, potential clients and ex-clients. Anything else is unprofessional and you don’t deserve the business. If you can’t do that, you should not be selling shit to people, because you may have the skills, but dealing with people is the other half of the craft.

Then again, the skills… really? Nobody recognizes those Begins belts anymore? I can tell ‘em a mile away.

Has anyone considered contacting the company/ies that make the toys he is ripping off? I mean, there might not be much we can do about him being a jerk and a not-so-great human being, but he is STEALING from those companies and they could almost definitely sue him for theft of their intelectual property. 

Having dealt with this guy before, Alexander “Grifter” Priddy is is both a fraud and sociopath. Previously I’ve had the unfortunate dealings with him in the past as he slandered my girlfriend, called her a whore, posts others personal information to his facebook to have his “fans” go attack them for him, and even goes so far as to threaten people who disagree with his opinions or call him out on bogus product.

When I contacted him to retract what he said about both my girlfriend and myself, he resorted to calling us “Cocksuckers” as well telling me to kill myself with vigorous chugging of Drain-O. 

He believes that his “continual 700+ buyers” are dogmatically loyal to him and uses this to any benefit he can. He honestly believes himself above most others around him and will threaten with physical violence should he feel the urge to do so. 

Take note guys, this isn’t even the worst of things he does. 

The fact that this post has over 1k notes makes me really happy. This guy sends death threats to anyone who even gives him criticism, including (like he said above) telling my boyfriend and “his man-faced girlfriend” (that’d be me) to go drink drain-o. 

He’ll then post to his facebook about how he’s being vicitmized by ____ person and beg for sympathy from his “adoring fans.”
